The Pacific Cetacean Group is a California based non-profit organization 501(c)3 founded in 1994. Our mission is to inspire conservation of marine mammals and other marine life through research, education, and the arts.

This organization was created as a long-term dream by a network of marine scientists and educators in the Monterey Bay area. PCG research, education and art programs focus on marine mammals and their ecology.

Our primary goal is to offer people a unique opportunity to study marine mammals and marine ecology by participating in some of our ongoing research. We invite you to explore the vast array of knowledge of marine mammals and their marine environments, from estuaries to the open ocean, through our research, education, art programs and links.

Take action now to save endangered whales! Send a message to save 30 to 50 of the planet's last remaining North Atlantic Right Whales. With only about 350 left on the planet, even the loss of one of these gentle giants is too many. Click here to Take Action Now!
